cercademi is built on the idea that you shouldn't need to register to find what's near you. This page explains what data we handle and why.

What we handle

Your location is used only to sort places by proximity. If you opt into precise location (GPS), the coordinates are sent to Supabase for a single query and discarded immediately. We do not store your location in any database or link it to any identity.

What lives in your browser

Places you save and recent views live in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser storage erases them.

Cookies

We use a single functional cookie: NEXT_LOCALE to remember your language. No third-party tracking cookies. See /legal/cookies for details.

Advertising

Some pages display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense may set its own cookies depending on your country's regulation. You can manage them from your Google account settings.
